Price Guarantee:
MVO is a boutique business with lower staffing levels and limited managerial staffing. As such we are able to offer specialist services as highly competitive rates to customers. We believe corporate specialist hospitals, whilst offering multidisciplinary care at a high level, charge top tier pricing. Our model is different. We are able to provide major discounts and compete with any written quote. We will beat any quotes for specialist surgery by 25%.
Price Protection Policy:
A minority of pet owners actually have active pet insurance when their pet needs expensive surgery. The remainder must pay for surgery out of their own pockets. What can happen after surgery is a complication develops which was not anticipated. It can be frustrating and stressful to discuss and have to pay extra for further care. MVO offers an internal insurance option for our clients to cover the costs of complications if we perform the operation on your pet. Pay 10% extra and you will never have to pay more for that procedure. This covers additional drugs, rechecks and further followup x-rays.
Free Quote:
In the building industry quote are free to entice consumers to engage tradespersons. This is not the case in medical circles, where a consultation is conducted before pricing is released. MVO is able to review previous veterinary notes from your local vet or emergency centre and assess any digital x-ray files, before calculating a surgery cost estimate. Please upload relevant history and imaging files such as x-rays by email.
Free Teleconsult:
MVO offer phone or video conference telemedicine whereby our specialist can discuss your pet’s condition in detail. This will be a conversation where both parties can ask questions and listen to learn more from the other party. The limitation of this free service is the vet does not have the opportunity to perform a physical examination of take further x-rays to help achieve a diagnosis.
Please read our thoughts on pricing under the section Business Philosophy to explain why our fees seem significantly under the larger multi specialist centres. It is important for all owners to be aware that many general practice owners offer advanced surgery and you may be able to beat our price but you are not having a registered specialist small animal surgeon working on your pet. We do not aim to be cheaper than non-specialists.
